Subiaco Weekend Retreat
Subiaco Retreat House is located in Oxford, MI at the Benedictine Monastery. Surrounded by acres of beautiful land and located at the top of a hill where you can make out the Detroit skyline. Each fall students in grades 9-12 from St. Peter are welcome to join us for a weekend of prayer, reflection, and fellowship. To learn more check out: subiacoretreathouse.com/
Springhill Winter Retreat
Springhill Camps is located in Evart, MI about 2 hours west of here. We offer both a middle school and high school retreat weekend where students spend time with a couple hundred students learning about Jesus from an amazing speaker and small group discussions with each other, enjoying the tubing hill, zip line, horseback riding along with many other activities and worshipping God with a live band. Each spring St. Peter is blessed with the presence of a NET Team, which is made up of a group college aged students who put on retreats for parishes nationwide. Our high school retreat is combined with other local parishes and ends with a fun outing! Check the calendar for more info!
Each summer the youth of St. Peter have the opportunity to travels to a new city and participates in a week long mission experience doing home repairs and other projects in different communities. Group Mission trips is an organization organizes mission trip experience where youth and all participants can encounter Jesus. Each year St. Peter Youth joins together with local parishes for a fund day of service and Christmas spirit! We begin our day at St. Thecla and walk back to St. Peter in honor of Covenant House. Once at St. Peter we spend the afternoon making blankets for Big families of Michigan and watching Christmas Movies! The event is open to middle school and high school students and is a great way to ear any needed service hours!
